Depending on how you use Exchands, we may collect:

• Account details. Email address, password (stored in hashed form), display name, referral codes, and preferences such as language or balance-privacy settings.
• Identity and compliance data. Information you submit for verification (for example legal name, date of birth, address, government ID images, or selfie checks) when required for withdrawals, higher limits, or legal obligations.
• Transaction and wallet data. Orders, balances, earn stakes, deposit and withdrawal requests, blockchain addresses we assign or you provide, network fees you pay, and related status history.
• Device and usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring URLs, and diagnostic logs.
• Communications. Support messages, survey responses, and emails or in-app notices you send or receive.

We may also receive information from service providers (for example fraud prevention, captcha, analytics, or identity vendors) and from public blockchain networks when you deposit or withdraw crypto.

3. How we use information

• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and Terms violations;

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit features such as staying logged in.

• Service providers who help us host infrastructure, send email, prevent fraud, verify identity, process captchas, store data, or analyze product usage — under contracts that limit their use of your data;

• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections; and
• Others with your direction, such as when you initiate a withdrawal to an external address (which is public on the blockchain).

Blockchain transactions are public by design. Information you publish on-chain (including addresses and amounts) can be seen by anyone.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and devices. Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Funds secured by Exchands remain subject to platform, operational, and technology risks described in our Terms. This Policy does not create insurance coverage or bank-deposit protection.

7. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and compliance requirements. Retention periods vary by data type. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it where feasible.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access or receive a copy of personal information we hold;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Request deletion, subject to legal retention needs;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links; and
• Appeal or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.

To exercise a privacy request, email support@exchands.one with enough detail for us to verify your identity and locate your records. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Some account settings (such as hiding balances) are available inside the product.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. International transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those places may have different data-protection laws than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy at /privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the product or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
